Epik High Leads a Fresh Trending Chart
Epik High’s EPIKISM ranked No. 1 on YouTube’s trending video list in South Korea on Sept. 20, 2026. The three-minute music video, posted Sept. 17 on the Epik High - Topic channel, had 759,306 views and 14,409 likes.
All of the top 20 videos were new entries compared with the Sept. 13 ranking, reflecting a complete turnover in the chart’s highest positions.
A short-form trailer for Episodes 5 and 6 of Made in Korea Season 2 on the Disney Plus Korea channel placed second, with 341,790 views and 840 likes. The gaming video Gamst One More Round! Men Obsessed With Spending 14 Million Won in FC Online ranked third after drawing 800,129 views and 4,668 likes.
The rest of the top 10 included ROSÉ’s new trick at No. 4, followed by gaming creator Sangsang’s Dongteuk Final at No. 5. Juho’s Looks like love ranked sixth, while highlights from a South Korea-U.S. League of Legends exhibition placed seventh. Lee Changsub’s Four seasons, and you was eighth, PAKA’s CS Mine ranked ninth and Release’s Called it Love rounded out the top 10.
Gaming and Music Dominate
Of the 30 videos included in the collected data, 14 were categorized as gaming and 13 as music. Entertainment accounted for two entries, while film and animation had one. Four of the 30 were YouTube Shorts.
Gaming and music were nearly evenly represented in the top 20. Gaming videos occupied nine positions, including Nos. 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11. Music videos also claimed nine positions, led by EPIKISM and including entries at Nos. 4, 6, 8 and 10.
A Minecraft video by creator Koma ranked 13th with 804,243 views and 13,480 likes. Hyean’s Machine Party video placed 17th with 625,385 views and 13,882 likes.
South Korea-U.S. Esports Match Draws Viewers
The Korean e-Sports Association’s highlights from the first South Korea-U.S. national team exhibition reached 704,427 views and 3,408 likes, placing seventh. The 31-minute video gave the chart a direct U.S. connection through League of Legends, one of the competitive gaming titles represented among the ranking’s strong gaming contingent.
View Counts Do Not Mirror Rankings
The most-watched video in the top 20 was not the chart leader. IU’s live clip for Unknown Planet ranked 12th despite recording 2,991,127 views and 31,397 likes. A nearly 4-hour, 40-minute gaming stream by Jeonseol placed 19th with 1,766,541 views, while Lim Young-woong’s official music video for Moise ranked 18th with 1,139,925 views and 47,142 likes.
The chart also included both short-form and long-form videos. In addition to the Disney Plus Korea trailer at No. 2, Open Your Eyes ranked 16th with 87,425 views and blinded placed 20th with 96,838 views. Kim Sung-hyun TV’s 56-minute gaming video featuring a one-versus-seven match ranked 11th with 363,680 views.
The rankings were compiled from South Korea’s trending video list made available through the YouTube Data API. The Sept. 20 results were compared with data from Sept. 13.
