‘SUN KISS’ Rises to No. 1
Twide’s “SUN KISS” climbed one spot to lead Apple Music’s most popular songs chart in South Korea as of Sept. 28, 2026. BIG Naughty’s “Nostalgia” slipped from first to second.
Rescene gained ground with two songs in the top five: “LOVE ATTACK” rose from No. 5 to No. 3, while “Deja Vu” advanced four places to No. 4. Cortis’ “REDRED” fell one spot to fifth, and KiiiKiii’s “Pop Off Pop Off” dropped from third to sixth.
The sharpest rise in the top 20 belonged to “Love Options” by Bestie. Originally released in October 2013, the song jumped 16 places to No. 7. Soyeon’s “I’ll Quit,” featuring narration by Kian84, debuted at No. 8, while Hearts2Hearts’ “Lemon Tang” held at No. 9.
Other notable moves included Hearts2Hearts’ “RUDE!” rising four places to No. 12 and IU’s “Dear my crazy soulmate” falling seven spots to No. 13. Ateez’s “BAD” moved up to No. 14, and Rescene placed two more tracks — “Pretty Girl” and “Pinball” — at Nos. 16 and 17.
Twide Holds the Albums Crown
Twide also remained atop the albums chart with “TUNE & PLAY - EP.” Yang Hong-won’s “Oboe” rose to second, followed by The Black Skirts’ “TEAM BABY” at No. 3.
Taylor Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore,” listed as a Sept. 24 release, debuted at No. 4. Silica Gel’s “Ballad of You” surged 12 places to No. 5, while jisokuryClub’s “Koh Larn,” listed as a Sept. 27 release, entered at No. 6. RiDoor’s “Memory - EP” debuted at No. 8, and The Volunteers’ “i love u” entered at No. 11.
Banta01 and MPT made the chart’s biggest album gain, with “Areum 8” jumping 16 places to No. 10. The lower half of the top 20 included Rosé’s “rosie” at No. 17, Ariana Grande’s “petal” at No. 19 and Frank Ocean’s “Blonde” at No. 20.
ALLDAY PROJECT Leads Music Videos
ALLDAY PROJECT debuted at No. 1 on the music video chart with “TALK” and added two more entries: “I DON’T BARGAIN” at No. 3 and “FAMOUS” at No. 20. Twide’s “GRLS” slipped to second, while Rescene’s “Pretty Girl” fell to fourth.
KickFlip’s “Incomplete,” which the chart lists with an Oct. 6 release date, debuted at No. 5. Soyeon’s “I’ll Quit” entered at No. 8, and Twide’s chart-topping song “SUN KISS” ranked 10th among music videos.
Other debuts included Troye Sivan’s “She’s the Best (Album Teaser)” at No. 14 and Rosé’s “new trick” at No. 15. Ariana Grande, Radiohead, Olivia Rodrigo and Enhypen also appeared in the top 20.
American Artists Remain Visible in Korea
The rankings underscore the mix of Korean releases and international pop consumed by Apple Music listeners in South Korea. Alongside domestic acts, projects by Swift, Grande, Ocean and Rodrigo appeared across the albums and music video charts.
