D’Live TV targets Latin American distribution

South Korean broadcaster D’Live TV said it has signed two memorandums of understanding with media companies in Brazil and Mexico as it seeks to distribute its original programming across Latin America.

The agreements followed business meetings at the 2026 Mexico K-Expo, held Sept. 24-27 in Mexico City. D’Live TV met with about 30 local media companies through the event’s business-to-business program and is now working through contracts and other follow-up procedures.

In Brazil, D’Live TV is pursuing an exclusive distribution agreement with PlayTV, which operates free and pay television channels as well as an ad-supported streaming service. The proposed deal covers four D’Live TV programs: “Date Planner,” the “Tottori” series, “Manual Labor” and “Ms. Korea.”

Its prospective Mexican partner, Casa Creala, produces content and operates an ad-supported on-demand video platform. The companies aim to make D’Live TV’s full catalog available through CrealaTV if a supply agreement is completed.

The broadcaster said the partnerships would add Brazil and Mexico to an overseas distribution network that already includes France, Australia and Singapore. It plans to continue using government-backed programs that help Korean content producers reach international buyers.

Programs already available in the United States

D’Live TV also distributes original programming through Amazon Prime Video. That rollout began March 26 and now reaches 20 countries, including the United States, Britain, Canada, Australia, India and Saudi Arabia.

Titles offered through Prime Video include “Forest of Wisdom,” “Tottori Hot Pants,” “The Docent” and “Opera House.” The service gives American viewers another route to Korean programming as D’Live TV expands beyond its existing markets and pursues a larger audience in Latin America.
