HYBE Sets First Overseas Weverse Con
South Korean entertainment company HYBE will hold its first Weverse Con Festival outside Korea in New Delhi on March 27 and 28 next year, the company announced.
The event, called Weverse Con Festival India, will be organized jointly by HYBE and its local subsidiary, HYBE India. Launched in 2023, the annual outdoor festival has been staged in Korea with lineups spanning generations and genres, including performers from HYBE labels and artists represented by other agencies.
HYBE said it plans to continue holding the Korean edition separately from the new India festival.
K-pop and Indian Music Share the Stage
The New Delhi festival will feature leading K-pop acts and Indian performers over two days. HYBE described the event as a meeting point for K-pop, Indian music and the fan cultures surrounding both.
In addition to concerts, organizers plan participatory fan events and programs offering firsthand experiences of K-pop culture. HYBE said the festival reflects its “multi-home, multi-genre” strategy, which aims to incorporate regional musical identities while presenting artists across genres.
HYBE Expands Its Presence in India
HYBE established HYBE India last year and has since held auditions in 23 Indian cities, along with fan-focused events. The company said the New Delhi festival will deepen its engagement with Indian audiences and create more opportunities for exchange between local culture and K-pop.
The artist lineup is scheduled to be announced in October through HYBE India’s official social media channels. Ticketing details and other information will be released later through HYBE India’s Instagram account and the Weverse Zone community on Weverse, HYBE’s fan platform.
