Papertrade entered the upper tier of the cryptocurrency fee rankings with $49.7 million collected over seven days, up from zero in the previous period, according to DeFiLlama data reviewed Oct. 16, 2026.

The off-chain derivatives platform ranked second overall behind Tether, the issuer of the widely used USDT stablecoin. Papertrade reported $49.5 million in revenue. In DeFiLlama’s accounting, fees represent the total paid by users, while revenue is the portion retained by a protocol or distributed to token holders.

Stablecoin issuers lead weekly rankings

Tether collected $122.7 million in both fees and revenue, an increase of 1% from $121.3 million during the previous seven days. Circle’s USDC generated $49 million in fees and revenue across Ethereum and off-chain operations, roughly unchanged from $49.2 million a week earlier.

Among other leading projects, the Solana-based decentralized exchange PumpSwap collected $24.3 million in fees, down 22%, and recorded $3.3 million in revenue. The off-chain prediction market Polymarket US generated $20.5 million in fees, up 2%, but reported no revenue under the data provider’s methodology.

Hyperliquid Perps posted $18.6 million in fees and $15 million in revenue, with fees declining 1%. Solana token-launch platform pump.fun collected $14.2 million in fees and $10.2 million in revenue, down 15%. Launchpads help projects issue new tokens and establish initial trading markets.

Uniswap V4 collected $12.5 million across Ethereum and Unichain, down 27%, with no reported revenue. Ethereum staking protocol Lido recorded $11.4 million in fees and $697,000 in revenue, while lending platform Aave V3 generated $8.5 million in fees and $1.2 million in revenue across Polygon and Fantom. Fees at both projects fell 8%.

Smaller projects post sharp increases

Several projects collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars also reported substantial weekly gains. Clanker, a launchpad on Base and Arbitrum, increased its fees nearly eightfold, from $95,000 to $749,000. Ethereum stablecoin wrapper Saturn rose sevenfold, from $57,000 to $398,000, while Ethereum restaking project EigenCloud climbed from $72,000 to $234,000.

NAVI Lending on Sui increased 135% to $203,000. THORChain DEX, operating across THORChain and Bitcoin, rose 127% to $537,000. Convex Finance reached $734,000, up 75%; Benqi Staked Avax increased 70% to $331,000; and Curve DEX rose 63% to $1.1 million across Ethereum and Polygon.

Ethereum leads daily fees

Excluding issuer fees recorded off-chain, Ethereum led blockchain activity with $15.4 million in fees over 24 hours and $376.9 million over 30 days. Its latest daily total was 1.2 times its 30-day daily average, a measure indicating that activity was more concentrated in the most recent period.

Solana followed with $14 million over 24 hours and $527.7 million over 30 days, producing a concentration ratio of 0.8. Hyperliquid had the highest recent concentration among the listed chains at 1.3, with $7.9 million in daily fees and $183.2 million over 30 days.

Robinhood Chain recorded $2.5 million over 24 hours and $152.9 million over 30 days, followed by Base at $2.2 million and $60.3 million. BNB Chain, Polygon and Tron generated daily fees of $2 million, $1.4 million and $1.2 million, respectively.

High yields remain a separate measure

Among liquidity pools holding at least $10 million in deposits, Uniswap V3’s WETH-USDT pool on Ethereum offered the highest listed annual percentage yield at 53.05%, compared with a 30-day average of 36.14%. The pool held $96.2 million in deposits.

Other leading pools included Uniswap V4’s ETH-USDT at 44.61%, Uniswap V3’s USDC-WETH at 42.87%, Uniswap V3’s WBTC-USDT at 39.3% and a Base-based Uniswap V3 WETH-CBBTC pool at 32.93%.

Those yields represent potential returns to depositors and should not be confused with fees earned by protocols. Rapid fee growth also does not establish that a project is safe or sustainable, particularly for newer platforms whose activity can fluctuate sharply. The figures are a summary of public data, not investment advice.
